We Need Your Help!

With the introduction of free Child Care for Nillumbik Leisure Facilities members and swim school families across all sites, we are very excited to see the growth of attendees in the Child Care space. The current demand for the service has far outgrown our originally budgeted staffing levels and we are looking to find a sustainable way for us to meet the current demands of the community. In order to do so we need your help to determine the best way to move forward. Childcare Spring Service Changes

After observing Childcare bookings over the last 6 months and staff availability, we will look to make the following changes to our Childcare days across Nillumbik Leisure from 1st September:

  • Diamond Creek Community Centre will change from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday operations to Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with extra spaces on both Wednesday and Friday as ongoing demand has increased.
  • Tuesday will be removed from Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre with those staff resources being moved to the Wednesday and Friday at Diamond Creek Community Centre, to open up more spaces.
