W: More variety in morning classes.

We understand the importance of variety, and the disappointment in losing Special Forces and Boxing. A High Intensity Circuit class with Andre has replaced Boxing to give those members the same high energy, freestyle feel. An additional virtual class will be added to Tuesday morning to provide variety and continuity in the 5:45am timeslot.

W: More Barre Classes.

Answer

We are thrilled to see such interest in our Barre program. The current Monday night timeslot has been relocated for convenience to 7:15pm on a Thursday. Hopefully this will make it more accessible to the members – and enable a double up with Pilates – both with Lauren D. Wednesday 11:15am, Friday 11:15am and Saturday 9:10am Barre will still be on the timetable as per normal.

There is great potential to expand our Barre program with continued interest as we regain access to our second program room (with the BAR!).

Metafit will be moving from Monday at 8:30am to Tuesday at 10:15am as a Metafit/Boxing class with Maddi. Additionally Wednesday night Metafit at 8:15pm will still run as per the schedule.

W: Contention with the night time schedule: 5:00pm too early, 8:30pm too late, want late night classes.

Answer

If this feedback was yours then we have the optimal solution. Class timeslots will now be adjusted so that it will run as follows:

5:30pm

6:15pm

7:15pm

8:15pm

This should allow those who work in the city to make it to classes on time, whilst also being home at a reasonable hour.

To supplement those late night exercisers we will be adding 9:15pm virtual classes every weeknight to fulfil that need. If interest is large enough we will look to put on an instructor for this timeslot.

At Eltham Leisure Centre we wish to ensure that our members are getting the most value out of our classes and scheduling. For this reason, upon the release of the new Group Fitness timetable there will be slight changes to both morning class start times, and to the childcare session time so that we prevent this issue from occurring.
