Excitement is gathering as we get closer to the Eltham Leisure Centre gym refurbishment.
With state of the art TechnoGym equipment to be installed, a complete vibrant make over including flooring and painting plus the added bonus of the gym moving to 24-7 access, as you are already aware there will need to be a closure of the gym to undertake such a massive project.
After finalising the painting schedule, the leadership team at ELC in consultation with Nillumbik Shire Council have made the decision in the interests of customer safety and satisfaction that the gym closure will be brought forward 3 days.
We felt the previous plan of undertaking preliminary painting works prior to the closure would significantly impact your experience across 10 days, with areas of the gym being closed off for periods whilst works were undertaken.
The gym facilities at ELC will close at 8pm on Sunday 19th November and reopen at 9am on Saturday 2nd December 2017.
With the cycle studio also being refurbished we will be running a reduced program as per the dates above in the child care space. (The reduced schedule can be found below)
All other Group Fitness programs will run as normal.
We understand the impact this will have on our customers and have worked hard to provide the following options for you. Please provide your membership card during the above mentioned dates for access.
