This March help us ‘Share the Dignity’ for women in need.

The organization Share the Dignity aims to help women feel dignified by providing access to free sanitary items. Women who are homeless or struggling financially may not be able to afford sanitary products meaning they exclude themselves from society and, even use unhygienic methods of period management. Furthermore, societal stigma around periods can be exacerbated when women do not have appropriate management methods. All these elements of period mismanagement can increase women’s incidence of physical and mental illness.

Share the Dignity have created a drive to collect sanitary items in March and August 2020. Eltham Leisure Centre has registered to be a collection point for March 2020.

Next time you’re in the shops, buy one for you, and one for her to help all women feel dignified.
